Stacy Baines Manvitz is a senior professional with over two decades of experience in the financial services industry in the US and Europe across alternative investments, private banking, investment banking and impact investing.  She is currently a private investor serving on the board of or advisor to portfolio companies.  For the past seven years, Stacy has been an active member of Pipeline Angels, an angel network actively investing in and creating capital for early stage women-led social ventures.

 

Stacy was previously a Director at Citi Alternative Investments in London where she headed Alternative Investment Sales for the Citigroup Private Bank in Europe and the Middle East.  While at Citi, she also served as a Vice President and Investment Counselor for the Private Bank’s Northern California region responsible for advising high net worth clients on investment opportunities across traditional and alternative asset classes. 

 

Stacy also held positions at J.P. Morgan Private Bank as a private banker, responsible for developing and maintaining high net-worth client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic region, and as a senior product specialist in the Private Bank’s Alternative Investments Group, responsible for identifying, evaluating, structuring and marketing private equity, real estate and hedge fund vehicles for the global high net worth client base.  Her professional background also includes four years of investment banking experience in Financial Institutions and Structured Finance groups.

 

Stacy is passionate about supporting women-led social businesses with a particular focus on underrepresented founders, as well as creating educational and leadership experiences for African American youth in her community, where she has served as a Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee Representative to Loudoun County Public Schools.

 

Stacy holds a BA in Economics from Spelman College and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
