Martha Brantley

Senior Director of Foundation & Investor Relations

Martha was previously the Director of Strategy and Business Development for the Clinton Development Initiative, a program of the Clinton Foundation that develops inclusive agribusinesses and provides training and market access to smallholder farmers in Africa. In that role, she helped expand CDI's operations to Tanzania and Rwanda. Oversaw the construction of three rural health clinics in partnership with Malawi's Ministry of Health, and established four new companies. Before joining the Foundation in 2011, she spent five years on the Special Situations and Arbitrage desk at D.E. Shaw & Co., investing in the health care and consumer goods sectors. She has also worked as an associate at Deutsche Bank and as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. She holds a BA, cum laude, in History from Yale University. Martha is a native of Little Rock, AR, and she is the Board Chair of the Heifer International Foundation, the endowment supporting the work of Heifer International, of which she is also a Board member.
