Lloyd is the Managing Partner for Masimba Consulting Group (MCG), a consultancy based in Johannesburg, South Africa, which works with financial institutions, lenders, and SME borrowers. He has spent nearly twenty years in development finance, working with several international development finance institutions (DFIs), including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he served as a Senior Consultant for SME Banking and Agricultural Value Chain Financing. He has worked in nearly twenty-three countries in Africa, and has also carried out consulting assignments in Indonesia and Jordan. Before moving into development finance, Lloyd served in several management roles in the banking industry, up to senior management level. He holds several banking-related qualifications and an MBA degree from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, specializing in Banking and Finance.
